Styles for the changing seasons—and a changing world.

The seasons, they are a-changin'. Just this week, in New York at least, we experienced snowfall one day, and warm weather and clear skies the next. It’s been a mindfuck, but that’s usually the case in mid-March. We have to be prepared for whatever curveball Mother Nature throws at us. And here to help, of course, are this week’s menswear releases, which are chock full of transitional pieces.

First at bat is a waxed-cotton jacket from a collab between Barbour and Ally Capellino. Not in the mood for outerwear? Check out the bright sweatshirts from Pyer Moss and Mami Wata, hoodies from Nordstrom and Standard Issue, and an electric blue cardigan from No Maintenance. All of them are great for the in-between season, and will brighten your disposition, for sure. We also have some great accessories that’ll work all year round: a Gucci cap that lets others know you believe in gender parity (should be everyone); gallery-worthy sneakers from a team-up between Marni and Veja; briefs from Derek Ford Jr, a man redefining the word “nude”; and, for those heading back to the office, Montblanc’s update of a classic messenger bag. So let Mother Nature know you mean business by copping one or more of the styles below.

Birdwell and GLCO: two California-based brands that live and breathe fun in the sun. The former, the maker of sleek board shorts, and the later, purveyor of tony sunglasses, have joined forces on a capsule collection—which, of course, includes a swim trunks and specs, along with an assortment of tops—that are primed for the beach or any warm-weather-scenario.

In other symbiotic partnership news, Barbour, the famed outerwear label, and Ally Capellino, a brand that offers wilderness-ready accessories, have teamed up on capsule collection that offers what each do best. Both are masters of waxed cotton fabric and creating classic styles with edge that are made to last. Case in point: this jacket.

Cristina Martinez is an artist whose work is grounded in the narratives of Black and Brown cultures, relaying pride in one's background through paintings rich in color and vibrant motifs. This week, thanks to a collaboration with Nordstrom, we are able to express that attitude through a capsule collection comprised of tops, bottoms, and this hoodie that encourages all to stop and smell the flowers.

In the world of luxury, Montblanc has all the stuff to get ahead in the office, particularly from its Meisterstück collection, which includes the finest leather goods and writing instruments. Now, the brand's new creative director, Marco Tomasetta, is celebrating Montblanc's storied history, combining, in a way, both categories in one item. The zipper on this duffle bag, for example, features the nib of the brand's iconic pen.

Standard Issue: a brand beloved by a number of Esquire staffers (one in particular is a big fan). It's not hard to see why; it consistently offers soft, flattering pieces, including this new pre-shrunk hoodie in heavyweight cotton.

Because we could all use a little extra protection from bad vibes these days.

To celebrate International Women’s Day, Gucci—through its longstanding campaign, Chime for Change, which advocates gender parity—has released a tee and baseball cap that visualizes this message. Called Generation Equality, the release coincides with the brands announcement of strengthening its commitment to directly support a slew of feminist organizations around the globe.

Few things get the energy up more than a good shag. And this electric blue cardigan from No Maintenance certainly reflects that sentiment.

Marni is a brand built on bold, playful color compositions and idiosyncratic silhouettes. When designer Francesco Risso took the reins, he heightened this sensibility, showcasing collections that surpass fashion and enter into the realm of high art. This week, however, Risso is offering something more accessible: a gallery-worthy sneaker created in partnership with Veja, the sustainable label celebrated for offering cool, casual kicks.

Pyer Moss's Kerby Jean-Raymond, per usual, is ahead of the curve. Seeing Instagram's rise in converting sales, the designer partnered with The Met on a collection sweaters, inspired by his fit from this year's Met Gala, that's exclusively sold on @Themetstore. His is not the first brand to take this sales route, but it is certainly not common for a label with such notoriety.

The legacy of Dunhill is grounded in luxury accessories (particularly for the automotive world)—the kind of quality pieces that last for decades and are, oftentimes, worth the hefty price. This is the message behind the British brand's new collection, which includes these low-slung leather sneakers with racing stripes.

Mami Wata believes in hakuna matata. The brand's apparel imbues a relaxed, don't-take-things-too-seriously vibe. Take, for example, this sweatshirt from its latest collection, emblazoned with a phrase that encourages us all to not sweat the small stuff.

The era of staying indoors and taking naps whenever is regrettably coming to a close. Many of us now have to wake up early, commute long distances, and sit in an office for hours. As a result, bags under your eyes may form. Here to alleviate this situation is Aesop. The brand released a new potent serum—rich in niacinamide, panthenol, tocopherol, and vitamin C—that'll improve the appearance of the skin surrounding the eyes.

A great pair of shorts from Spalding and Diet Starts Monday, a streetwear label with a name that represents my personal mantra.

Carter Wear's Derek Ford Jr. expressly founded the label to offer nude undergarments for Black and Brown men. Because nude shouldn't always mean beige. The brand offers every conceivable style, including this just-released brief.
